Job summary

TAMKO is seeking a Territory Manager to lead technical sales and territory development across the assigned region. You will apply roofing product knowledge, installation practices, and market analytics to grow sales and support customers while driving satisfaction and profitable growth.

You will analyze data, develop plans, deliver demonstrations and training, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize territory performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business analytics, or a construction-related field.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish, verbal and written, for technical and commercial communication.
• Experience applying technical product knowledge, market analysis, and consultative sales in roofing/building materials.

Responsibilities

• Analyze territory performance and develop annual and quarterly plans.
• Advise customers on product selection and installation requirements.
• Visit customers/jobsites to observe installations and gather questions for follow-up.
• Deliver technical product demonstrations and training for contractors, distributors, and builders.
• Communicate in English and Spanish to customers and contractors.
• Build strategic relationships with distributors, contractors, architects and key accounts.
• Use Salesforce to maintain records, track pipeline, and prepare reports.
• Identify and qualify prospective customers based on market potential and strategic value.
• Travel within the territory for meetings, trainings, and site visits.
• Demonstrate TAMKO products and explain features, warranty terms, and value propositions.
• Develop pricing within authority and coordinate sales agreements.
• Collaborate with Technical Services, Marketing, and Supply Chain to resolve issues.
