Job summary

TAMKO is seeking a Territory Manager in the Atlanta area to lead technical sales and territory development for roofing products. The role requires applying product knowledge, installation guidance, and market analytics to grow profitable sales while supporting customers throughout the territory.

The position emphasizes building relationships with distributors, contractors, builders, and architects, and using Salesforce to track activity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, construction management, business analytics, or related field.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish, both oral and written.
• Experience applying technical product knowledge, market analysis, and consultative sales in roofing/building materials.
• Ability to interpret product specifications and translate into practical business recommendations.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze territory sales performance, customer purchasing patterns, competitive activity, housing and construction trends, and other market data to develop and execute annual and quarterly territory plans.
• Advise distributors, contractors, builders, and customers on product selection, installation methods, and specifications.
• Develop and deliver technical product demonstrations and training for contractors and distributors.
• Build strategic relationships with distributors, contractors, builders, architects, and other key accounts.
• Travel within the territory for meetings, jobsite visits, and sales development activities.
