Job summary

TAMKO Building Products is seeking a Territory Manager in Baton Rouge, LA to drive technical sales and territory development for roofing products. You will apply knowledge of product specs, installation practices, and market analytics to grow sales and support customers.

The successful candidate will travel within the territory, work with distributors, contractors, and builders, deliver technical demonstrations, provide installation guidance, and use Salesforce to manage accounts and forecast

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, construction management or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish, both oral and written.
• Experience applying technical product knowledge and market analysis in roofing/building materials.
• Ability to interpret product specs, installation instructions, and market data.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel by air.
• Overnight travel and extended stays are required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze territory performance, market data, and develop annual/quarterly business plans.
• Advise distributors, contractors and builders on product selection and installation.
• Attend jobsite visits and provide follow-up with TAMKO Technical Services.
• Deliver technical product demos, training, and sales presentations.
• Communicate in English and Spanish; translate product specs and warranty information as needed.
• Build strategic relationships with key accounts and assess customer needs.
• Maintain CRM records in Salesforce and track pipeline activity.
• Travel throughout the territory to meet customers and conduct site visits.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and support launches.
• Represent TAMKO at trade shows and contractor events.
