Job summary

TAMKO Building Products, Inc. in Denver, CO is seeking a Territory Manager to grow sales and support customers across the assigned territory.

The role blends technical roofing product knowledge with strategic territory development to meet revenue targets. The position requires applying product specifications, installation practices, and market analytics, while guiding distributors, contractors, builders, and other professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, construction management, business analytics, or related field.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish to explain technical information to diverse customers.
• Experience in roofing/building materials or related industry preferred.
• Ability to interpret product specs, installation instructions, and market data.
• Valid driver’s license required; frequent travel and overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Analyze territory sales performance and market trends to develop business plans and forecasts.
• Advise distributors, contractors, builders on product selection and installation requirements.
• Visit customers/jobsites to gather data and coordinate with TAMKO Technical Services.
• Develop and deliver technical product demonstrations and training for audiences.
• Communicate in English and Spanish with customers about product specs and programs.
• Build strategic relationships with key accounts and assess their needs.
• Use Salesforce to manage accounts, document interactions, and track pipeline activity.
• Identify prospects using market intelligence and prioritize opportunities by potential value.
• Travel within territory for meetings, site visits, and sales development.
• Present TAMKO products, features, warranties, and value propositions with samples and literature.
• Develop pricing and terms within authority; coordinate sales agreements and commitments.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and others to resolve issues.
• Monitor industry developments and report implications to management.
• Represent TAMKO at trade shows and events, including Spanish-speaking audiences.
