Job summary

PTS Advance seeks an experienced Territory Sales Manager for Baton Rouge, LA to drive sales growth, customer development, and technical product education within an appointed territory. You will blend technical roofing knowledge with strategic planning and strong relationship management.

The role requires robust English/Spanish communication, the ability to analyze market data, and travel across the region to support distributors, contractors, and builders with product demonstrations and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, construction management, business analytics, business administration, or a related field.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish, including oral and written communication.
• Experience applying technical product knowledge, market analysis, and consultative sales principles in roofing/building materials.
• Ability to travel by air as required and to travel throughout the territory.

Responsibilities

• Analyze territory sales performance, customer purchasing patterns, competitive activity, and market data.
• Develop and execute annual and quarterly territory business plans and sales forecasts.
• Advise distributors, contractors, builders, and customers on product selection and installation requirements.
• Participate in customer meetings and site visits to observe product applications and follow up on concerns.
• Develop and deliver technical product demonstrations, installation training, and sales presentations.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with distributors, contractors, builders, architects, and key accounts.
• Use CRM and reporting tools to manage accounts, document interactions, monitor pipeline, and prepare reports.
• Travel throughout the territory for meetings, visits, and sales development activities.
