Job summary
Westlake Chemical is seeking a Technical Services Manager in Dallas, TX to serve as the technical SME and lead product installation training efforts. The role involves developing and delivering training programs for both classroom and field use, addressing installation and product questions, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
You will train installation crews, customers, and sales personnel on proper techniques, contribute to product feedback with R&D, and drive training strategies
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of roofing installation processes.
- Knowledge of standard building practices and codes.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret installation instructions and architectural drawings.
- Experience leading training and working with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver installation instructions, guides, and training tools for field use.
- Develop training methodology for classroom and field installation.
- Train installation crews, customers, and sales staff on proper methods.
- Serve as technical SME for product knowledge, codes, and installation inquiries.
- Collaborate with sales, product management, and R&D to improve products and support.
- Lead North America training strategies and coordinate displays for trade shows.
