Job summary

Velaz Solar & Roofing, the leading Latin American-owned solar and roofing company in the U.S., seeks a Roofing Manager to lead and expand the residential roofing sales team across New Jersey. The role focuses on coaching, performance management, and strategic growth of sales opportunities, with uncapped commissions and elite rewards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in roofing sales and/or roofing management.
• Strong knowledge of residential roofing systems, materials and installation.
• Experience with siding, windows, gutters, soffit & fascia and other exterior home improvements.
• Ability to evaluate needs and recommend roofing/exterior remodeling solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and motivate the roofing sales team.
• Train and coach sales representatives on roofing products and sales techniques.
• Monitor individual and team sales performance; establish and track KPIs.
• Support sales reps throughout the process and help close complex deals.
• Review leads, appointments, estimates, and sales pipelines; ensure follow-up.
• Collaborate with Operations to hand off projects smoothly after sale.
• Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and developing new reps.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to boost sales.
