Job summary

Roofing Talent America (RTA) seeks a proactive Bid Desk lead to build a new bid channel for commercial roofing projects. You will own take-offs from drawings through pricing, bid, and award, leveraging in-house resources to maximize profitability.

You will work in a hybrid setup, autonomously managing bid packages and interacting with GC and project teams across a range from $15K to multi-million-dollar roofing projects.

Qualifications

• Must have blueprint take-off and construction estimating experience.
• Able to read and price from drawings and specifications independently.
• Commercial roofing preferred; strong estimators from GC, flooring or another trade will be taught roofing.

Responsibilities

• Take spec and blueprint opportunities from drawings through take-off, pricing, bid and award.
• Own bid packages, submittals and pre-construction requirements end to end.
• Decide what is worth bidding and what is not.
• Hand awarded work into operations and stay close enough to protect the margin you priced.
• Represent the business in GC and project meetings.
