Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a Roofer Maintenance Technician for a full-time role at TAMU - 600 Agronomy, College Station, TX. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with potential for additional hours as needed.

Prior roofing experience is required, and the role involves lifting up to 50 pounds and performing strenuous labor. The position offers a pay range of $16.00 to $22.00 per hour, with benefits, training, growth opportunities, and same-day pay options through SSC

Qualifications

• Prior roofing experience required.
• Ability to utilize hand-operated construction equipment.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds and perform strenuous labor for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Repairs leaks in various types of roofs, parapet walls, flashings, etc.
• Installs roof vents.
• Prepares new built-up roofs.
• Applies asphalt shingles and corrugated roofing.
• Applies waterproofing to exterior walls.
• Cleans all types of masonry buildings.
• Inspects and performs preventative maintenance on roofs.
• Updates work statuses and documents tasks completed in CMMS.
