Job summary

SSC Services for Education, a member of Compass Group, is hiring for a full-time Groundskeeper at TAMU Texarkana, TX 75503. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. Prior commercial groundskeeping experience is required. Pay range: $13.00–$17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include maintaining lawns and plants, trimming and pruning, general grounds and janitorial duties, and providing quality customer service. Benefits and same-day pay are offered, along with a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Prior commercial groundskeeping experience is required.
• Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Plans and administers a program of grounds and plant maintenance.
• Inspects common areas and reports deficiencies to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Mows lawns weekly during the season.
• Trims bushes and prunes trees for neat appearance.
• Weeds flowerbeds weekly or as needed.
• Shovels exterior walkways in winter and salts icy walkways.
