Job summary

Nextlink Internet is seeking a Field Installation Technician to perform on-site installations and service calls across customer locations. You will survey sites, install and configure Internet equipment, and ensure customers receive reliable service.

The role requires strong customer service, technical aptitude, and the ability to operate outdoors in varying weather. A valid driver's license and background check are required as part of employment.

Qualifications

• Must pass a drug screening test.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform site surveys for potential customers to evaluate serviceability.
• Diagnose customer problems at service calls and restore service.
• Install Internet service for new customers at their location.
• Configure routers and customer computers for access to Internet services.
• Perform equipment upgrades for existing customers.
• Work on-site at customer locations and handle related duties.
