Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation is seeking a Rollstock Process Engineer to own polymer film extrusion, printing, lamination, and slitting processes. The role focuses on improving process capability, reliability, yield and safety while leading complex projects across Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance and Product Development.

The candidate will drive data‑driven improvements, lead capital projects, and deploy MES for better control and traceability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field and 3–5 years of high‑volume manufacturing experience.
• Proven proficiency in statistical methods, SPC, RCA, DOE, and project execution.
• Lean and Six Sigma training or certification is preferred (Green Belt or Black Belt).
• Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting cost, quality, and delivery objectives.

Responsibilities

• Own Rollstock processes and lead technical leadership to ensure stable operations across shifts and product mixes.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma to improve yield, rates, setup time, and OEE.
• Direct capital projects including equipment upgrades, new line installations, and major modifications.
• Collaborate with Product Development and Quality on resin qualifications, product transitions, and raw material changes.
• Strengthen quality systems using SPC, FMEA, and corrective actions; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare clear technical documentation and mentor less experienced engineers and technicians.
