Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (accredited).
• Experience in a team setting with effective communication across areas.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, waste collection, or similar roles is preferred.
• Proficient with computer programs and multiple systems; strong email/phone communication.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch drivers to calls as they are received, balancing driver location, customer needs and workload.
• Assist in determining daily driver staffing to balance responsiveness and productivity.
• Assign routes and service tickets to drivers; close tickets daily.
• Handle incoming calls and emails from customers and sales; manage pickup requests and guarantees.
• Initiate outbound calls to customers while drivers are on-site to resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot delivery/pickup problems before they cause service issues.
• Record information from drivers and share with relevant departments.
• Coordinate with maintenance and Operations Manager to resolve vehicle and driver issues.
