The ROI Specialist at MRO Corporation supports client sites by processing Release of Information requests for patient records in a HIPAA-compliant manner.

Responsibilities include reviewing requestor information, entering data into ROI On-Line, answering inquiries, logging and scanning records, and handling cash payments where applicable, in line with site policies. The role is based at client facilities across the United States and requires strong attention to detail and reliable performance.

Competenze

• One or more years of data entry experience.
• Ability to work independently and meet production goals.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail in a HIPAA-regulated environment.
• Dependable with a track record of reliability.
• Prior ROI experience is a plus.

Mansioni

• Determine records to be released by reviewing requestor information per HIPAA guidelines and obtaining pertinent patient data from various sources.
• Answer phone calls concerning ROI issues.
• Respond to walk-in customers requesting medical records and log information into ROI On-Line database.
• Process requests from physician offices and fax information as needed.
• Log medical record requests into ROI On-Line database.
• Scan medical records into ROI On-Line database.
• Comply with site facility policies and regulations.
• Handle cash payments for requests at specified sites.
• Other duties as assigned.
