Job summary

MRO recruits an ROI Specialist to support client sites with Release of Information requests and HIPAA-compliant disclosures. You will verify patient data, access multiple sources, and ensure accurate processing of requests.

This role involves handling phone inquiries, assisting walk-ins, and logging and scanning records in ROI On‑Line. You will work in a structured, compliant environment across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency using computer applications and data entry.
• Experience entering data into computer systems.
• Experience using the internet is required.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and dependability.
• HIPAA regulations knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determines records to be released by reviewing requester information per HIPAA guidelines.
• Answer phone calls concerning ROI issues.
• Assist walk-in customers and log information into ROI On-Line database.
• Process requests from physician offices; fax information as needed.
• Log and scan medical records into ROI On-Line database.
• Adhere to site policies and regulations; handle cash payments where required.
