MRO provides ROI support at client sites across the United States, handling release of information requests for patient records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines. The role involves data entry, logging, scanning, and responding to inquiries by phone and in person, with security and accuracy as priorities.

Ideal candidates demonstrate attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to work independently to meet production goals within a healthcare environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One+ years of data entry experience.
• Experience using the internet is required.
• Must demonstrate strong verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and dependability are essential.
• Ability to work independently and meet production goals.

Responsabilidades

• Review requests to determine records to release per HIPAA guidelines and locate records from electronic, off-site, or physical sources.
• Answer and handle ROI-related phone calls.
• Assist walk-in customers requesting medical records and log information into ROI On-Line.
• Process requests from physician offices and fax information as needed.
• Log and scan medical record requests into ROI On-Line.
• Handle cash payments for requests at specified sites where applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
