Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an ROI Analyst II to support the Release of Information program. The role involves collecting, processing, retrieving, analyzing and disseminating health records for patient care, subpoenas, and regulatory requests.

You will ensure confidentiality, perform quality checks, and coordinate with physicians to obtain necessary authorizations, all while maintaining high patient satisfaction and compliance with policies and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year ROI experience in HIM/ROI preferred.
• RHIT/RHIA preferred; Associates/Bachelor's preferred.
• Excellent customer service and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and track ROI requests ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Enter new ROI requestors into the ROI database and verify identities.
• Retrieve health information from multiple sources, including EPIC/OnBase.
• Ensure HIPAA and 21st Century Cures Act compliance in all releases.
• Coordinate with physicians and staff to obtain authorizations as needed.
