Job summary

Voyager Technologies seeks an Engineering Manager, Rockets to lead a multi-disciplinary team focused on solid rocket motor development from design through production scale-up to deliver defense-critical propulsion capabilities.

The role reports to the Director of Engineering and is based in Penrose, CO, with transition to Pueblo, CO. Responsibilities include mentoring engineers, driving strategy, and ensuring technical excellence and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of relevant propulsion experience.
• 15+ years hands-on solid rocket motor development and production experience with propellant formulation and motor testing.
• 5+ years leading technically complex projects in a regulated/defense environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary engineering team across solid rocket motor design and production through LRIP.
• Drive engineering strategy, planning, and resource allocation to meet performance, cost, and schedule goals.
• Oversee development and approval of engineering deliverables and ensure compliance with internal/government standards.
• Represent engineering in reviews and foster safety, accountability, and technical excellence.
