Job summary

Voyager Technologies, based in Penrose/Pueblo, Colorado, seeks a Principal Project Engineer to lead end-to-end execution of solid rocket motor programs within the Strategic Systems line. This senior role bridges program ownership with cross-program influence, reporting to the Program Manager, Solid Rocket Motors, and working on-site in Penrose/Pueblo.

You will mentor engineers, set technical directions, and ensure cost, schedule, and performance across proposals, qualification, and production.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of combined engineering and project management experience.
• Deep SRM domain expertise and production ownership.
• US DoD security clearance eligibility and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical and programmatic execution on SRM programs.
• Serve as primary customer interface and manage expectations.
• Resolve complex engineering and programmatic challenges with SRM expertise.
• Mentor junior Project Engineers in technical and programmatic disciplines.
