Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is looking for an Instrumentation & Controls Technician in Van Horn, TX to join their team focusing on space exploration. You will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and testing of relevant systems used in rocket engine testing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience.
• Familiar with test, flight, safety, and proper handling of critical hardware.
• Good understanding of instrumentation calibration.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication, installation, and checkout of wire harnesses and control systems.
• Manage contractors for instrumentation installations.
• Follow safety procedures when working with hazardous materials.

Skills

Electrical schematics

Fabrication of cable harness assemblies

Troubleshooting low voltage systems

Knowledge of PLCs

Education

2+ years of experience in Instrumentation & Controls

Certifications related to IPC/WHMA-A-620, MIL-DTL-22520

Tools

Microsoft Office
