Amazon Inc. in Rochester, NY is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly staff across our delivery network. You will drive safety, quality, attendance, and performance while ensuring orders are delivered on time.

You will mentor your team, collaborate with safety, engineering, and payroll partners, and adapt to building variations across first, middle, and last mile operations. The role requires flexibility including weekends and nights.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Flexibility to work a schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• A Bachelor's degree or International Equivalent, OR 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience, OR 6+ years of Military Experience.

Aufgaben

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
