Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly staff and drive safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will ensure on-time deliveries, coordinate with safety, engineering and HR, and navigate three workflow stages—First mile, Middle mile, and Last mile—across an expanding network.

You will mentor the team, manage performance metrics, and adapt to varying site conditions while supporting overall customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
