Job summary

Repsol is seeking a ROCC Operator in downtown Houston, TX to monitor and control renewable generation assets 24x7 from the remote-operations center. You’ll ensure safe operations, coordinate with field teams, maintenance contractors, and external entities such as RTO/ISO in line with NERC standards.

The role requires 3+ years in power system operations, experience with SCADA/HMI, and the ability to work in shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in power system operations or related energy operations.
• Experience with SCADA HMIs is required.
• Experience with renewable generation preferred.
• Ability to work in shifts including nights and weekends.
• English communication skills required; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time 24/7 control center operations to ensure safety and grid reliability.
• Perform incident categorization, initial troubleshooting and escalation.
• Coordinate with field personnel and external entities (RTO/ISO) per NERC standards.
• Enter and manage work orders for traceability.
• Support grid reliability using monitoring and outage notifications.
• Create and maintain operating documentation and procedures.
