A leading renewable energy firm in Houston is searching for a ROC Operator to oversee the safe operation and monitoring of solar power and Battery Storage plants across the United States. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with NERC standards, directing operations, and evaluating system alarms. Candidates should have an associate's degree in electrical engineering, proficiency in SCADA applications, and strong organizational skills. This position requires weekend and holiday shifts on a rotating schedule, offering opportunities for growth in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in a control room.
• Understanding of electrical utility systems.
• Ability to manage multiple software applications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate operation of solar, BESS, and wind assets.
• Ensure compliance with reliability standards.
• Evaluate system alarms and take corrective actions.
