Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson is seeking a ROC Operator based in Irving, TX to remotely operate multiple production units from the Remote Operations Center. The role requires night and weekend coverage on a rotating schedule and involves handling FDA-regulated releases and shift handoffs.

The ideal candidate will have strong SCADA/PC skills, a chemical/industrial engineering background, and 1–3 years of plant operations experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associates degree in Process Technology or equivalent preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical/Industrial preferred).
• 1-3 years Industrial work with pumps, valves, compressors/turbines preferred.
• 1-3 years Chemical Plant Operations Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, reliable and efficient operation of multiple production units.
• Adjust plant control variables and equipment parameters to drive performance.
• Optimize plant performance by tracking data and selecting the best operating plan.
• Assist with starting and stopping plant machinery safely.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and alarms and take corrective actions.
• Log process changes, alarms, and communications.
• Complete station rounds and action if KPIs are outside range.
• Release medical grade product per FDA regulations.
• Complete training and best practice assignments.
• Lead or assist with shift lead or coverage roles as needed.
