Job summary

Magna Exteriors (DexSys facility) in Lansing, MI seeks a hands-on technician for 2nd shift to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, using voltmeters, oscilloscopes, soldering tools and welders. You’ll follow control plans and TPMs to support quality and output.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, with electrical or mechanical repair experience, and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting. An associate degree in a technical field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in a technical field preferred
• Mechanically inclined with ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Experience with electrical or mechanical repairs is desirable

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain robotic and paint application equipment per control plans, ensuring quality and delivery targets are met.
• Perform and document maintenance, calibrations, and tool/setup adjustments to optimize equipment performance.
• Identify and help resolve product, process, or quality issues in compliance with IATF-16949 requirements; verify corrective actions.
• Meet daily production goals and record production data accurately.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain proper ergonomics.
