Job summary

Magna Exteriors in Michigan is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for a 3rd shift, Sunday night through Thursday night. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems to keep our equipment operating at peak performance.

The role requires an associate’s degree in a technical field (preferred) and practical aptitude; automotive manufacturing experience is a bonus. Magna offers a nicotine-free facility and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues.
• Working on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Performing preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Reading schematics, diagrams, and parts breakdowns.
• Fabricating and welding equipment when needed.
• Using hand tools and diagnostic equipment to get the job done right.
