Job summary

Magna International is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Lancaster, OH. The role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing automated equipment, PLC/HMI systems, and robotics in a high-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualified candidates have engineering or trades credentials, experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, vision systems, and safety circuits. Overtime, a strong team culture, and continuous improvement are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Electrical/electronic/mechatronic technician or equivalent engineering/ trades training with relevant experience.
• Experience with PLC/HMI, robotics, and troubleshooting industrial networks and safety circuits.
• Ability to read drawings and update electrical/PI diagrams; weld knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct manufacturing line support and troubleshoot equipment and processes.
• Maintain, repair, install and test equipment per specifications and PMs.
• Perform PLC/HMI troubleshooting and robot cell support; modify drawings as needed.
• Ensure safety standards are followed and participate in continuous improvement.
