Job summary

Magna International is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician for its Exteriors division in Michigan. You will support the paint line and robotic equipment, perform diagnostics, calibrations, and preventive maintenance to ensure quality production.

The role requires mechanical/electrical repair skills, a technical degree, and comfort in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity with great benefits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on manufacturing experience with electrical or mechanical repair.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain line performance.
• Associate degree in a technical field preferred; related hands-on experience acceptable.
• Automotive manufacturing experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and diagnose paint line equipment to keep production on track.
• Operate and calibrate robotic and paint application equipment per control plans.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and robot PMs.
• Identify and document product/process quality issues and verify corrective actions.
• Adhere to IATF-16949 quality standards and safety policies.
