Job summary

Magna International's Cosma division in Michigan is seeking a maintenance technician to service, repair, install and test robotics-based equipment, including welding cells and fixtures. You will work with production teams to troubleshoot process problems, document breakdowns, and implement quality improvements to meet part standards and customer requirements.

The role requires hands-on experience with Fanuc robotics, MIG/SPOT welding, 5S, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Fanuc robotics production support experience.
• Experience with robotic MIG and SPOT welding.
• Fronius and BOSCH welding background is a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical testing tools such as voltage meters.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, repair, install and test new or existing equipment and verify conformance to specifications (Robot/Welding/Fixtures).
• Complete repairs, modifications and installations as required.
• Provide plant support in troubleshooting process problems and implement quality improvements to maintain part standards.
• Collaborate with production and support groups and vendors.
• Maintain and document breakdowns and follow up with preventive maintenance.
