Job summary

Skild AI is seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to translate complex robotic intelligence into clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation across software architecture, APIs, SDKs, deployment guides, operational procedures, and troubleshooting runbooks for robotic fleets in the field.

You will collaborate with researchers, ML engineers, software architects, and operators to gather information, reflect product functionality, and own the documentation lifecycle end to end with a focus

Qualifications

Experience as a technical writer in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.
Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
Proven track record documenting APIs, SDKs, and software architecture.
Experience creating deployment guides, maintenance manuals, or hardware/robotic documentation.
Familiarity with Markdown, Git-based docs, and static site generators.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for robotic intelligence software (architecture, APIs, SDKs).
Author deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting docs for fleets of robots.
Collaborate with researchers, ML engineers, software architects, and infra teams to reflect product function.
Own documentation lifecycle from planning to publication and updates.
Establish best practices, style guidelines, and tooling; perform peer reviews.
Maintain consistent terminology, style, and tone for technical and non-technical audiences.
