Job summary

Skild AI seeks a highly skilled Technical Writer to translate complex robotic intelligence into clear, accurate documentation for researchers, engineers, operators, and customers. You will own docs across the full stack—from software architecture, APIs, and SDKs, to deployment guides and runbooks for robotic fleets in diverse environments.

You will collaborate with researchers, ML engineers, and infrastructure teams to ensure materials stay current and reflect product functionality as our robots

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience as a technical writer in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Document architecture, APIs, SDKs, and codebases for internal and external users.
• Author deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting guides for robotic fleets.
• Collaborate with researchers, ML engineers, software architects and infra teams to reflect product functionality.
• Own the documentation lifecycle from planning to publication and updates.
• Promote best practices, style, and tooling; conduct peer reviews across teams.
• Maintain consistent terminology, style, and tone for technical and non-technical readers.
