Job summary

Agility Robotics is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to join the Systems Integration team in the SF Bay Area. You will own integration of a robotic subsystem from planning through bring-up and hand-off, driving root cause analysis, and delivering validated configurations and documentation to partner teams.

You will collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines, write test tooling in Python, read schematics, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in Systems Integration, test, hardware bring-up, or related R&D.
• Experience with electromechanical, mechatronic, or robotic systems.
• Ownership of a subsystem through bring-up, testing, and issue resolution.
• Track record of driving multi-domain issues to root cause.
• Hands-on proficiency with lab instrumentation and data logging.
• Ability to read/write code for test, data analysis, and tooling (Python preferred).
• Ability to read schematics, drawings, and interface documentation.
• Experience designing and running engineering tests and analyzing results.

Responsibilities

• Author integration plans for assigned subsystems, defining phases, tests, and tooling.
• Review inputs to identify integration risks and gaps before hardware arrives.
• Track integration work and status for clear visibility by partners and leads.
• Independently execute bring-up of new subsystems and support integration into full humanoid systems.
• Verify hardware/software interfaces and run functional tests for correct operation.
• Document tested configurations and deliver actionable reports.
• Mentor junior engineers in troubleshooting and integration practices.
• Communicate status, risks, and findings across engineering and manufacturing.
