Agility Robotics is seeking a Senior Hardware Reliability Engineer in the San Francisco Bay Area hybrid role. You will own reliability for humanoid drive systems and actuation sub-assemblies, partnering with mechatronics, controls, embedded software, and manufacturing teams to drive validation, life predictions, and design revisions.
The role demands 5–8+ years in reliability engineering for complex hardware, with robotics/high-reliability experience strongly preferred.
Formación
- Minimum 5–8+ years in reliability engineering for complex hardware
- Experience in robotics, autonomous systems, aerospace, or high-reliability industries preferred
- Ability to translate field data into design improvements (DFMEA, RCAs) and lifetime models
Responsabilidades
- Lead Design for Reliability (DfR) across mechatronic loops incl. drive trains and actuators
- Design and execute multi-axis accelerated testing (HALT/HASS, thermal, vibration)
- Perform root-cause analysis and drive closed-loop improvements across mechanical, electrical and software interfaces
