Job summary

Wonder is seeking a Robotic Systems Engineering Intern to help build, deploy, and support automated technology powering Wonder’s restaurants. You’ll gain hands-on experience across mechanical, electrical, controls, software, and system integration while supporting deployments and sustaining kitchen automation.

Ideal candidates are pursuing engineering degrees with at least 2 years of hands-on robotics experience, strong troubleshooting, and teamwork skills; a hybrid office model is in place in

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Robotics or related field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on robotics/engineering experience.
• Strong aptitude for working with robotic/electromechanical systems.
• Foundational understanding of mechanical, electrical, controls and robotics principles.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Robotics and automation: support development, deployment, and operation of robotic systems.
• Systems integration across mechanical, electrical, controls, software, and operations.
• Sustaining engineering: assist with reliability improvements in Wonder restaurants.
• New automation development: assist in prototyping and evaluating concepts.
• Deployment readiness: prepare systems for deployment and handoff to operations.
• Documentation: create and maintain deployment and operational docs.
