Matrix Design installs and commissions robotic cells and automated equipment at our facility and on customer sites to meet engineering requirements. You will provide on-site startup support, testing, and validation to ensure safe, reliable performance.

The role involves preventive maintenance and repairs on robots, PLCs, HMIs, and supporting hardware, with travel up to 40% to customer locations. Strong safety practices are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on work with robotic systems in manufacturing or automation.
• Experience in robotic integration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of risk assessments, safety practices, and industrial standards.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission robotic cells and automated equipment at our facility and on customer sites to meet engineering requirements.
• Provide on-site startup support, testing, and validation to ensure safe, reliable performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on robots, PLCs, HMIs, and supporting hardware.
• Troubleshoot integration issues across robotics, control systems, and field devices—diagnose, resolve, document.
• Program and optimize robot paths and routines; assist with calibration and cycle-time improvements.
• Configure and program industrial vision systems (FANUC, Cognex, Keyence, etc.).
• Maintain meticulous documentation: maintenance logs, wiring and schematic updates, and troubleshooting records.
• Champion safety practices and adhere to company and industry standards.
• Collaborate daily with engineers and project managers to drive project milestones.
