Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Automated Production Management, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years' experience with PLC systems (Allen Bradley).
Experience with robotics integration (ABB/Fanuc).
Familiarity with Ethernet/IP networks and operator interfaces (Panel View Plus).
Strong project coordination, scheduling, and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary onsite commissioning lead for projects, coordinating across departments.
Update and track commissioning progress and times in Jira per project.
Design, benchmark, and standardize commissioning processes from scratch with team leadership.
Audit third‑party contractor work for compliance with company processes.
Conduct one‑on‑one discussions with engineers to verify Jira tickets and status.
Track timesheet hours against commissioning tasks and projects.
Resolve blocked Jira items with engineers to maintain momentum.
Lead weekly training and documentation updates for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with project managers to remove blockers and keep timelines.
Travel to client sites up to 75% of the time for onsite work and commissioning.
Attend design reviews and cross‑functional planning to ensure field needs are addressed.
