Ilocatum in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Senior Field Commissioning Engineer to lead the debug and I/O validation of robotic cells and automated assembly lines, both in the shop and on customer sites across North America.

The role requires hands-on commissioning, PLC troubleshooting in Studio 5000 or Siemens TIA Portal, robotics calibration, and travel up to 80%. A degree in engineering and eligibility for passport travel are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on commissioning for custom automation machinery and multi-axis robots.
• PLC troubleshooting and logic modification in Studio 5000 or Siemens TIA Portal.
• Strong ability to read electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic prints.

Responsabilités

• Lead in-house debug and I/O validation before equipment ships.
• Calibrate robots and verify networks and end-of-arm tooling.
• Diagnose PLC, servo, vision, pneumatic, and safety issues in real time.
• Run customer installations and run-offs across North America and abroad.
• Train customer engineers and maintenance teams.
• Work with design, project, and build teams to isolate and fix issues.
• Keep testing logs, open-issue lists, and field reports current.
