Job summary
Bastian Solutions, a Toyota Advanced Logistics company, seeks a Support Engineer to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, champion reliability improvements, and guide field retrofit projects. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide timely resolutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
The role includes on-call rotation, travel up to 10%, and participation in design reviews to improve product reliability and field service support.
Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
- CAD competency, preferably SolidWorks.
- Experience with robotics, preferably Fanuc.
- Ability to troubleshoot software and electrical/mechanical systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication; MS Office proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to customer issues 24/7, on-call rotation.
- Form plans to fix incoming customer issues and communicate status.
- Escalate issues to other business areas for resolution.
- Design short- and long-term resolutions for products.
- Lead meetings with customers to resolve issues and drive improvements.
