Job summary

Amazon Robotics is seeking a New Product Lead - Tech to own a small portfolio of robotic products, driving supplier and supply chain strategies, cost roadmaps, enabling rapid NPI builds, and ensuring a successful ramp to mass production.

They will work with senior product and engineering leaders to balance commercial versus technical constraints, manage advanced technologies, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable products and meet cost targets. 20–25% travel required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience.
• 3+ years solving problems with technology in Automotive & Manufacturing industries.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support the product development process across cross-functional supply chain teams focused on supplier management, design, sourcing, and deployment.
• Act as a point of contact for program teams to communicate supply chain decisions and progress.
• Partner with Robotics leadership on commodity and supplier selection, cost-roadmaps, and rapid product development.
• Develop Product-level Supply Chain Strategy documents, including components, cost roadmaps, capacity, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with sourcing teams to develop negotiation strategies for categories impacting the product.
• Work with Global Commodity Managers on supplier performance, capacity planning, and cost/quality improvements.
• Contribute to roadmaps for NPI and total cost targets (TCO) including make vs. buy and VE opportunities.
• Support Sustainability, Supplier Development, and Cost Savings goals.
