Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking a Robotic Software Engineer to design and integrate complex autonomy and vehicle intelligence systems across hardware and software.

You will deploy autonomy algorithms in SIL, HIL and live test environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust hardware-software integration for defense and commercial customers, with a focus on embedded Linux platforms and sensor interfaces.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and integrating autonomy systems for hardware/software platforms.
• Proficiency in interfacing sensors and embedded systems with autonomy software.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware-software integrations.

Responsibilities

• Adapt and develop modular autonomy capabilities across defense problems.
• Integrate and deploy autonomy solutions onto embedded Linux and other hardware platforms, interfacing with sensors and data.
• Troubleshoot complex integration and software issues for reliability and performance.
• Integrate autonomy software with hardware in collaboration with autonomy engineers for aircraft autopilots, datalinks, sensors, GPS/INS, and ground control.
• Support live flight tests of autonomy software on group 1-5 UAVs.
• Collaborate with 3rd party UAS vendors on autonomy software integration onto OEM hardware.
