Job summary
IntePros is seeking a Principal Engineer – Robotics Simulation & Digital Twin to build a high-fidelity simulation environment for advanced surgical robotics. You will migrate an existing OR simulator to NVIDIA Isaac Sim and expand capabilities for robotic simulation, digital twins, workflow optimization, sensor simulation, and AI applications.

Qualifications
- 4+ years of robotics, simulation, or engineering experience.
- Strong Python and Linux experience.
- Experience with robotics hardware, CAD, controls, and physics-based simulation.
- Experience with simulation platforms such as NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Gazebo, Webots, Unity, or MATLAB/Simulink.
- Experience with ROS2 and articulated robot simulation preferred.
- Experience with Omniverse, USD/OpenUSD, PhysX, digital twins, or advanced physics modeling highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Migrate robotic system and OR assets into NVIDIA Isaac Sim.
- Configure articulated robot models, joint controls, and ROS2 integration.
- Build capabilities for OR layout, accessibility, collision, and workflow studies.
- Develop physics models for tool-tissue interaction, bone resection, and tissue manipulation.
- Integrate simulated sensors and support simulation-based testing and AI model development.
- Collaborate with robotics, software, and clinical engineering teams.
