System One is seeking a Principal Robotics Simulation Engineer to develop a digital twin environment for robotic applications in Weston, FL. The role involves migrating simulation assets to NVIDIA Isaac Sim, implementing robotics and physics models, and integrating sensors to support workflow evaluation and AI model development.

You will collaborate with clinical, robotics, and software teams to enhance simulation capabilities, leveraging tools like ROS2 and Omniverse.

Qualifications

Experience with Python in Linux environments.
Background in robotics hardware development and CAD modeling.
Hands-on with robotics simulation tools like Isaac Sim, Gazebo, Webots, Unity, or MATLAB/Simulink.
Knowledge of physics-based modeling and simulation.
Preferred: Omniverse, USD workflows, articulated robot simulation, ROS2, and edge computing.

Responsibilities

Migrate existing simulation assets to Isaac Sim including robotic systems and instruments.
Develop robot articulation control and integrate simulation with ROS2 for robotic control.
Implement simulation capabilities for OR layout optimization, collision analysis, and workflow studies.
Develop physics models for tool-tissue interactions and integrate sensor models.
Collaborate with clinical, robotics, and software teams to enhance simulation capabilities.
