Job summary

Serve Robotics Inc. seeks a Service Technician II to diagnose, repair, and validate complex hardware and software issues across the company’s fleet of delivery robots. You will ensure high uptime, accurate documentation, and reliable repair performance with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include advanced diagnostics, quality ownership, and collaboration with engineering. Must maintain safety standards, tool calibration, and contribute to fleet efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years in electro-mechanical, electronics, robotics, automotive or similar industries.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex integrated systems independently.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools (multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply, software diagnostics, etc.).
• Experience performing component-level testing and validation.
• Strong documentation discipline and experience with issue-tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple repair streams independently.

Responsibilities

• Independently diagnose mechanical, electrical, and integrated software failures using structured troubleshooting frameworks.
• Develop and implement repair strategies for moderate-to-high complexity issues.
• Perform component- and sub-assembly-level testing to validate repair effectiveness.
• Reduce repeat repairs by identifying root causes within scope; escalate systemic or novel failures as needed.
• Maintain high-quality documentation of repair activity in Jira with photos, test results, and validations.
• Maintain tool calibration, lab organization, and inventory accuracy.
