Serve Robotics Inc. seeks a Service Technician I to support fleet reliability by performing preventive maintenance, structured diagnostics, and component-level repairs on our delivery robots.

This role is designed for early-career technicians who bring foundational technical experience and are building proficiency within Serve’s systems and standards. This role directly impacts fleet uptime, repair quality, and customer experience through consistent execution and documentation discipline.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years hands-on experience in electro-mechanical, robotics, or related fields
• Ability to perform mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and standard shop practices
• Experience in shop, lab, or field-service environments
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation
• Willingness to follow structured troubleshooting processes
• Weekend availability as part of a 5-day schedule

Responsabilités

• Perform basic to moderate hardware repairs and preventive maintenance
• Execute structured diagnostic procedures using approved tools
• Conduct inspections and validation tests to confirm repair effectiveness
• Replace components (motors, sensors, harnesses, etc.) as needed
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level technicians
• Accurately document all work in MaintainX with photos and notes
• Ensure repair records support engineering review and traceability
• Maintain organized workstations and follow safety standards
• Contribute to process improvements and training
• Participate in required technical and safety training
