Ottenweller Company Inc. is seeking a Robotic Programmer for the Fort Wayne facility. The role involves programming robotic welders, designing fixtures, and coordinating with internal and external teams to boost efficiency, safety, and quality of welded parts.

The candidate should have an associate degree or equivalent and be proficient in MasterCam along with Creo or SolidWorks. Experience with fixture design, off-line programming, and working on manufacturing floor operations is preferred.

• Associate degree or equivalent with relevant technical training or experience.
• Proficiency in MasterCam and Creo or SolidWorks; familiarity with metal fabrication and machining.

Mansioni

• Determine suitable products for robotic welding based on input from various sources.
• Serve as liaison between management and personnel operating robotic equipment.
• Provide estimates on fixture design and production time for quotations.
• Review blueprints to identify customer requirements and fixture design needs.
• Design robotic fixtures and track fixtures progression; build as needed.
• Utilize Moto-Sim or off-line programming to speed up programming tasks.
• Coordinate with vendors and service personnel on maintenance and equipment upgrades.
• Advise and train production staff in programming and operation of robotic systems.
