Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is seeking a Robotics Programmer/Weld Intern to support fabrication through robot operation, programming and troubleshooting. The role includes assisting with fixture design, welding program design, and process improvement across the manufacturing floor.

The position requires pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in a related field and offers exposure to advanced robotics, offline programming and hands-on equipment development on the 1st shift.

Qualifications

• Pursuing either an associate or bachelor's degree in weld engineering, robotics, mechatronics, programming, engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Operate robots, train others, and observe robots in operation.
• Provide technical support to the manufacturing group regarding robot programming.
• Assist with fixture design, development, and maintenance.
• Design welding programming to safely execute correct welds and improve operations.
• Identify and coordinate robot-related projects (new tech, capital equipment).
• Read blueprints and interpret symbols and assemblies; understand failure analysis.
• Other duties as assigned.
