Job summary

JCB in San Antonio, TX is seeking a skilled Robot Technician to program, set up, and optimize robotic welding and automation equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality production. Qualifications

• Diploma or associate degree in mechanical/manufacturing engineering, robotics, automation, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years in robotic welding, automation, or robotic manufacturing environments.
• Ability to pass drug screens, background checks, and pre-employment tests.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and optimize robot programs for production requirements.
• Setup, teach, adjust, and troubleshoot robotic systems for new and existing products.
• Support changeovers, automation improvements, and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Diagnose and resolve robot, tooling, and process issues to minimize downtime.
• Drive process improvements, lean initiatives, and NPI validation.
