Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a skilled Robotic Welder Technician to operate and program welding robots and CNC tenders on the shop floor.

You will install, adjust, and calibrate equipment to meet production specifications while maintaining quality and safety standards. The role requires hands-on welding experience (MIG/TIG/spot weld), familiarity with FANUC or similar robots, and the ability to read blueprints and use gauges.

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude and welding process knowledge (GMAW, GTAW, spot welding).
AWS certification (Robotic Arc Welder) preferred.
Technical diploma or associate degree in robotics, automation, or welding technology.
Experience with major robot brands (FANUC, OTC Daihen, Nachi, Yaskawa).
Comfort with programming logic, sensors, and PLCs.

Responsibilities

Program, install, and adjust robotic welding equipment and weld controllers to meet production specs.
Set up and calibrate robotic arms and sensors; perform preventive maintenance.
Troubleshoot robot and controller issues to minimize downtime and meet targets.
Assist with tool changes, setups, and process problem-solving on the shop floor.
Ensure weld quality; measure with calipers and gauges; document variations.
