Job summary

JOST International is seeking a Robotic Programmer to support manufacturing automation across welding, assembly, painting, and inspection. You will program and optimize robots from FANUC, ABB, Yaskawa/Motoman, KUKA, and Universal Robots, while collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams.

You will perform setup, validation, and continuous improvement to reduce downtime and improve safety and quality. This on-site role requires strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience programming industrial robots in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with robotic platforms: FANUC, ABB, Yaskawa/Motoman, KUKA, or Universal Robots.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with PLC interfaces and industrial networks.

Responsibilities

• Program, configure, and troubleshoot industrial robots (FANUC, ABB, Yaskawa/Motoman, KUKA, UR).
• Develop robot paths, motion sequences, and process parameters for manufacturing.
• Support robotic systems in welding, material handling, assembly, painting, palletizing, machine tending, and inspection.
• Perform robot setup, commissioning, testing, and validation for new equipment and launches.
• Maintain robot programs, backups, and technical documentation.
• Ensure safety standards compliance and train operators and maintenance staff.
